Attention: Physicians
(UPDATED January 15, 2021)

Do you or your staff still need the FIRST dose of the COVID-19 vaccine?

The Bexar County Medical Society (BCMS) continues to work with local pharmacies, hospitals and community practices to arrange vaccinations for our physicians and their staff.

CURRENT VACCINATION OPPORTUNITIES

Jan 13 - Physicians with Methodist privileges can get their staff vaccinated BY APPOINTMENT ONLY by calling (210) 575-0200.

Jan 14 - Volunteer Licensed Medical Professionals and others are needed for the Mass Vaccination Clinic being held at the Alamo Dome and WellMed clinics on the south and west side of San Antonio.

In these difficult times of having access to vaccine, this is a GREAT opportunity to get your COVID-19 vaccination as all volunteers are eligible to be vaccinated at the end of your shift!

All vaccinators/drawers must register on the Texas Disaster Volunteer Registry (TDVR) with the Alamo Area Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). Alamo Area MRC can be found in the Bexar County dropdown.

Access to vaccine is a very rapidly changing situation! We need the very best contact information for you to let you know when an opportunity arises! Most opportunities are small quantities, so we need to be able to reach you ASAP.

Please let us know how many in your practice(s) need the FIRST DOSE. Please click here to provide the most direct method to reach you to make arrangements once details are available.

When vaccine is available, BCMS hopes to host other all day vaccination clinics.

Thank you!
